Ambitious goals
Luja Lab represents the research and development itself, while here on this page we share the small and large pieces of the puzzle that must be put together if we want to change the technique from the ground up. It is not just about millimetres and machines, but also about understanding what works, what does not, and why.
Our goals are ambitious – but within reach:
- Operation at 250+ m/min in Ø300 softwood
- 100 hours of saw blade operation – without cracks
- Narrow kerf width via thinner steel and new fiber breaking technique
- 1/3 lower energy consumption during cutting
